East Quay Wedding

The RockPins returned to the East Quay Venue Whitstable on 21st June 2018 for another wedding reception. And what a wedding it was! Longest day of the year, brilliant warm sunshine and everyone enjoying the beautiful location on the beach. On top of that we had fresh strawberries and ice-cream and some local ale. Superb! Jane and Clinton were a lovely couple to work with and it was great to see them on their wedding day. As usual, the set up at East Quay is great. We can set up quietly while the guests are either having their meal inside or enjoying the beach. The load in is great – something we always look out for with a venue due to the amount of heavy equipment we have to bring.

We played 3 sets of live music, leaving the start a little bit later due to the fantastic weather and everyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors as long as possible! And we supplied the disco too for all the breaks. The first dance was a recorded version of an original track, after which we came straight in with the first set. New Paragraph
