If you've been looking to hire indie wedding bands, welcome to The RockPins wedding and party band! We play a broad range of live music including a decent amount of indie music along with rock and pop. Please see our Song List page for our full repertoire.

The RockPins have been performing at wedding receptions and private gigs for well over a decade now and are still going strong. We're good friends who enjoy what we're doing, which is why we've enjoyed such longevity whilst other bands pop up and disappear every few months. And we do our very best to ensure our clients and their guests have a great time, each and every time! Please see our client Feedback to see this is the case over and over again!

Indie bands Kent - Based in Kent, The RockPins have accumulated some amazing statistics which include playing at over 600 weddings receptions, at more than 250 wedding venues with more than 100 of these venues being in Kent. Some of the wedding venues we've performed at include; Leeds Castle, Hever Castle, Lympne Castle, Chiddingtone Castle, Penshurst Place, Mount Ephraim, Secret Garden and many more.

We've also won a number of awards including the prestigious 'Kent Wedding Awards' for best live music act on 2 occasions, and have been recently selected (October 2022) as finalists once more for the 2023 Kent Wedding Awards. We have also won the national Bridebook Awards for best live music act. This is primarily down to the consistent client feedback we receive.

What we do

The RockPins band provide a full evening of music entertainment to keep your party going right until the end of the night. Usually we perform 3 sets of live music (in 3 lots of 40 minute sets) and fill all the gaps with a fantastic disco (which can be any music you want it to be! You can either leave it up to us or create your own playlists).

We use an industry leading sound system employing bi-amped powered speakers (tops and subs) along with Allen & Heath / Behringer X32 mixing desks. We also provide lighting for the band and for the dance floor. So all we need is space to set up and a few plug sockets and we're away!

Typically, we'd arrive at 6pm to set up the whole band, being ready to perform your first dance / announce cutting of the cake etc at 7.30pm. Then it's music to the end! We're also happy to make announcements (eg buffet, last orders, throwing of the bouquet etc).
