The Barnyard Kent Wedding Reception:
Another great venue and another fantastic wedding. This was our fourth wedding in a row at the beginning of September (8th). Our previous 3 were at Cooling Castle, The Dreys, Chilston Park, then The Barnyard. And what a way to end our run of 4!
This time it was for Adam and Rachael. They were in the marquee which is fantastic for large functions (The Barnyard also has a more intimate building for smaller weddings which we’ve also played in – lovely). We were able to set up discreetly behind a curtain while the wedding breakfast was taking place.
One all the speeches were finished we were able to sound check and then put some background music on before the first dance. Then we played the first of 3 live sets.
It was an awesome night from start to finish! A big crowd who were absolutely up for a party! We managed to capture some great footage which you can see a clip of on our VIDEOS page (Hey Jude 2018 compilation).

6th September 2018 – Megan & Pete Baxter – THE DREYS, MAIDSTONE – WEDDING RECEPTION – ‘Hi Matt, Thank you so much for being superb! You went down a storm and I’m glad you enjoyed the venue, we absolutely fell in love with it when we found it and couldn’t wait for everyone to see it. Will look forward seeing some photos Thanks, Megan.’
5th September 2018 – Laurence & Giselle Mettam – COOLING CASTLE BARN – WEDDING RECEPTION – ‘Hi Matt, It was great to meet you too and thank you and the guys so much for your terrific performance and professionalism. Everyone, without exception, said how much they enjoyed the songs and the band’s playing. Your live sound was so well balanced and clear. You’ve really got it nailed. The Barnyard Kent Review
The Barnyard is one of our favourites to play. Such a nice venue with lovely staff (which really does make all the difference). We always feel very welcome here and relaxed, perfect for a wedding day! As mentioned above, we’ve played at The Barnyard on many occasions now, both in the marquee and in the main building.
